This is an OK bird house pole kit. The pole itself is decent. The outer coating is fairly smooth and even. The pieces screw together reasonably well, though the coating does make it a bit rough. The bottom piece has 2 tines for sticking into the ground. The other 2 tines are on a separate piece that slips over the top and slides down. It is a bit loose, and does not have any fasteners to solidly attach it to the pole. It does still do a decent job of helping keep the pole from swaying in that direction, but not as well as if it was more solidly attached. The pole itself has a bit more flex than I'd like, though should be fine for a bird house. The biggest issue, is that the inside of the bottom spike is rusting, right out of the box. With the flaws, I think this is overpriced.

Very sturdy have no issues with my feeder on it and no squirrels so far, thats a plus!

There's a 5-prong base that helps with stability. We have a squirrel that can actually bend one of our poles over. He hasn't bent this one yet. Yes I think it's worth the money.

I actually bought this pole set to use for a little squirrel feeder that I didn't want to nail directly to a tree, and it worked out perfectly!
